Job Summary: The primary objective of this role is to deliver Earnest Ice Cream’s products to its stores and wholesale vendors safely and with accuracy. They are responsible for order generation, packing, safe transport and payment processing. They work both individually and on a team that has structure but varied daily tasks. 

Duties:

• Administrative tasks including processing vendor orders, generating invoices and processing payments, navigating Google Drive and other tracking & company communication tools.
• Packing and delivering ice cream products safely and efficiently. 
• Transporting Earnest Ice Cream jar returns back to the warehouse for processing.
• General support as the Earnest Ice Cream mobile team, including but not limited to running errands, picking up ingredients and supplies, and delivering last minute orders between stores.
• General cleaning tasks to support the overall cleanliness of the production space and the vehicles. 
• Follow all required OH&S guidelines and food safety requirements.

Working Conditions: 

• Part-time, 3-4 days per week. An average shift is 7 hours, starting between 8am – 9am.
• Must be available weekday mornings, plus occasional weekends and stat holidays.
• The office is located at 1485 Frances St, Vancouver BC.
• In an average week, this role will be 15% administrative in the office, 65% driving, and 20% loading and unloading product.
• Able to work in a -24C freezer wearing PPE.

Qualifications: 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Able to lift up to 50lbs and work in a physical setting.
• Able to maintain professional and courteous relationships with all team members and vendors.
• Able to adhere to our Safe Driving Policy at all times.
• Self-driven & collaborative, able to work independently and on a team.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience with Quickbooks is an asset. 

Required Training and Experience:

• Experience driving large vans. 
• Experience using electric pallet trucks and stackers preferred.
• Knowledge of the Greater Vancouver Area and its roadways.

Required licenses, certificates, and registrations:

•  In possession of a Class 5 license with a driver’s abstract clear of violations.

• Starting wage for this position is $19.75/hr and competitive compensation is offered based on qualifications and experience.
