First made in the summer of 2017 as a variant of our Strawberry Basil. Made with fresh basil leaves from the local organic producer Klippers Farms, which are immediately cold steeped in our ice cream base for 2 days. This allows the flavour to infuse and intensify before the leaves oxidise. They pluck only the top leaves to ensure ultimate freshness, while allowing the plants to continue growing and thriving. A surprisingly savoury and sweet flavour!
